A wedding is a special event that you’ll remember a lifetime. Your wedding dress becomes an heirloom that lasts long after the event. Give it the care it deserves and it can be handed down to future generations.

Our cleaning is the perfect solution for wedding dresses because of their delicate beads and trim, special fabrics and fine craftsmanship. In fact for many wedding dresses, the Swiss approach may be the only option for restoring a wedding dress to its original condition.

How much do we care?  We will package your wedding dress using the same technique that museum conservators use to extend the lifetime of their textiles for 200 years or more.

Our wedding dress preservation process has three steps:

1. Cleaning the dress: This requires careful hand-spotting, gentle cleaning, and a thorough rinse.

2. Packaging the dress: Conservators believe textiles should be stored in a breathable, protected environment.  Our packaging process utilizes archival materials, providing protective layers, which buffer the wedding dress against excessive humidity and environmental contaminants.

3. Monitoring the dress: Museum conservators check their textiles every two years.  We suggest, every 2-3 years, open the box, examine the storage materials and your wedding dress. We will offer your advice and suggestions on how to monitor your wedding dress.

Let Swiss help you keep your wedding dress  in heirloom quality.
